Stephanie Roundy
Over the last twenty years, Stephanie’s practice focused on defending physicians, other healthcare professionals, hospitals and public entities in malpractice and general liability matters in state and federal court. Stephanie’s practice has focused on cases involving complex spinal injuries, birth injuries, bariatric cases, surgical complications, claims of elder abuse, and other catastrophic damage claims. Her practice includes representing clients in matters involving the Medical Board.
Stephanie has presented numerous continuing education courses on the topics of defending medical malpractice cases, informed consent, HIPAA, confidentiality of medical information, evaluating catastrophic damage cases and statute of limitations.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Stephanie worked for eight years handling third party liability claims for an auto and homeowners insurance carrier. Stephanie obtained her law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2000. Her commitment to the legal profession includes serving as the Secretary of the Board of Governors for the San Joaquin Bar Association for six years. She grew up in the Santa Cruz mountains, and Stephanie now resides in the Sierra foothills where she spends her free time riding horses and ranch roping.
